Working with Smith & Foulkes @ Nexus, these three x 20” spots were my first productions as lead agency producer.
The campaign introduced two new characters, Wilbur’s niece and nephew in a spot that helped British Gas gain over 1 million Rewards customers in the first year since the programme’s launch.
The production was a great insight into character and model development, and the efficiencies of working on multiple animations simultaneously. Alongside the brilliant composer Alex Baranowski and Siren, we also created a new musical theme for British Gas and their spokes-penguin, Wilbur. The theme was adapted across ads for the next 3-years of advertising.
Nexus also produced a series of gifs for British Gas’s social channels.
